Fuel Matters – to all of us. That’s why we created this site.
There is a lot of information – and misinformation – on the Internet about fuel. It is hard to find good data about what really matters to the average Joe – the person that works 8-5, fuels up her car on average once per week, and pays attention to the budget at the end of the month. This site is for her – and you.
What is #FUELMATTERS?
#FUELMATTERS is a way to get people talking about the important issues around fuel that affect each and every one of us, day in, day out. We will post occasional stories on this site, Facebook, Twitter and Google+ using the hashtag #FUELMATTERS. Our goal is for people to pick up those messages and share them with their friends.
This is where we need your help! Keep your eyes open for #FUELMATTERS on social media – like our pages, follow our tweets, add us to your circles or sign up for our email blasts. When you see a message from us, please consider sharing it.
Who we are
This informational campaign was developed by the Petroleum Marketers Association of America. We are an association of around 8,000 independent petroleum marketers throughout 47 states. We are not “Big Oil.” We represent the local convenience store down the street and the company that delivers heating fuel to your house. What matters to us is delivering great products to consumers just like you – high quality fuel at prices that don’t bust the budget.
